I recently had a conversation with a friend who does full time ministry work and speaks with a bunch of "messed up" people...
He shared the #1 common theme he sees and I had to share.
Wade fishing is one of the most common approaches to targeting fish, yet it is often one of the most misunderstood. In this episode, Rich and Ed are joined by Dave Ulgenalp (Wader Dave) to talk about his approach to finding fish while wade fishing.
Dave brings with him over 40 years of experience fishing and guiding from Florida to Cape Cod.
Tight lines and enjoy.
Our fishing team was all having a conversation about our personal best flounders and what's crazy is that we all used the same lure to catch them.
So we started doing some research and discovered that many others had caught some absolute doormats using this lure.
Listen in as we share what lure it is, how to best rig it, how to best retrieve it, and more.
Tight lines.
There are some things that are just unexplainable - and the two stories I share in this episode fit in that realm.
Listen in as I share how God used this same person as "a sign" for me almost exactly 2 years apart from each other. So wild!
Enjoy.
In this episode, Rich is joined by Bayside Dave. Dave spends a lot of time within the New Jersey surf fishing community sharing information and doing seminars to help as many people get on the fish as possible.

Smart Fishing Spots has been getting a TON of attention recently. With all of the attention about this software, we've been getting a bunch of questions.

Did you know that there is a specific phrase that is mentioned in the Bible 365 times?
Is it any coincidence that perhaps God wanted us to remember this every single day?
Listen in and find out.
It's Saltwater Underground time!

As a young adult, I always assumed that sharing my struggles, challenges, and weaknesses as something that would make me look inferior and weak...
Boy, was I wrong.
Listen in as I share a recent story of being completely vulnerable in a huge house on the water in Miami recently.
Enjoy.
In this episode, Rich and Ed are joined by Salt Strong Coaches Matt Lanier and Pat Ogletree to answer questions live on stream. We’ll cover striped bass fishing in the mid-Atlantic and northeast, targeting redfish, rod and reel pairing, why jacks aren’t a popular species to target, and much more.

Let's face it, there are always going to be times when we have a hall pass to go fishing and the weather, wind, tides, etc aren't working in our favor.
Last week, Luke and I went out in a new area only to be met with a huge cold front, high winds, and negative tides.
We struggled in the first spot we went to (the wind had blown all of the water out), so here's what we did next.
Enjoy and tight lines.
If you spend any amount of time watching kids, you might notice one thing they have in common is screen time.
From 2-year-olds to teenagers, our kids don't have any clue what it's like to just sit and think... and DREAM.
Listen in as I share the alarming issue at hand.
